There’s a lot of information buzzing around about fleas, ticks, and other pests, but they really can cause serious (and costly) health problems for your pet. We don’t want you led astray,
so let’s dig in!
Common parasites can carry diseases with potentially deadly outcomes for dogs and cats.
Parasites are found in all 50 states, whether you’re in a city, suburb, or out in the country.
Like most critters, parasites are more active during the warmer seasons. But if you live in a hotter or even temperate climate, they might never go away.
Pests can find their way into your house through windows and doors, or hitch a ride on rodents or clothing. Even if they never go outside, there’s still a risk.
In many cases, the financial toll of treating a parasitic infestation far outweighs the amount of money you’ll spend preventing it.
Let’s get to know the most common parasites that could infect your pet.
The good news is that year-round prevention with products from Zoetis can stop all of these pests in their tracks.
